Cathy Huddleston is a Master Facilitator in Equine Experiential Learning or EEL. She brings passion, extensive knowledge and a lifetime of experience in personal and corporate facilitation, training and teaching with horses and humans. She developed the model of how to open the lines of communication via her “Ask, Allow... Encourage” model; a format that improves self-awareness, listening skills and focus. Using this model, Cathy’s decades of experience, and the direct feedback from teaching horses, Cathy successfully coaches people to develop self leadership skills, communication skills, congruence and active listening.
At 2 ½ years old with her first pony, Franco, Cathy began her teaching and training career devoted to honoring the lessons she learned from horses. She began working with both people and horses at age 13 and completed her BA in Equine Studies with a minor in Marketing. She spent 3 decades showing, training and coaching clients to numerous wins. Most recently she became an Epona Advanced Instructor in EEL studying with Linda Kohanov and Kathleen Barry-Ingram. She went on to be a faculty member at the Epona Center, an international training program in Equine Experiential Learning, personal growth and corporate team development.
In June of 2009 Cathy took her skills to Southern California and joined our team in Fallbrook, California. She is currently the Director/Head Trainer/Lead Facilitator of the Equine Division. Cathy is a passionate student and facilitator of a variety of communication models. She brings to the table a belief and focus that through self leadership skill development and work with horses, participants can and will begin to create the life of their dreams.
Leader In U focuses on both personal growth and Leadership/Team development through a variety of experiential formats including Equine Experiential Learning.
